It has definitely been a full week in the Timm household!
Last Saturday we had our all day childbirth preparation class. We both found it to be really helpful. You leave the class feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the possible scenarios of the birth but we're trying to view it as just one more opportunity to trust the Lord with uncertainty in our lives! Uncertainty seems to be a theme these days and I am thankful the Lord is being gracious to teach us His steadfastness in the midst of that which we cannot control.
Sunday was a blessed day with our church family: nursery, singing, the Word faithfully taught. We are so thankful for these brothers and sisters. Loved the children's choir performance and fellowship potluck that evening!
Monday Joshua and I were able to help some others record a CD for our dear friends the Stouts as they will be away during Christmas for Ty's surgery.
Tuesday I had my OB visit which went well. I was really glad to hear that Dr. Arronte thinks the baby has turned head down! :) BabyTimm is still growing well and moving lots. I can hardly believe I am 34 weeks today. Definitely starting to slow down but feeling well overall. Thankful for a sweet and supportive husband in this third trimester, what a blessing to have a steady man as my hormones are raging at times! Praying that I will trust the Lord with the physcial discomforts that have started and that He will grow me through this final stretch of pregnancy to abide in Him.
Tuesday night we traveled to Greenville and stayed with our dear friends the Singapogus. It was such a joy to see them after several months. Our souls are always deeply encouraged after time with them. Cannot believe how fast the kids are growing!
Wednesday we traveled to Walhalla for our court hearing for the Seneca house. We praise God that things went smoothly and that we are now able to proceed with the "sale" of the house. The Lord has really used this house to stretch us in our marriage! We never thought a year ago that we would still be dealing with this but we are thankful that things are moving forward. Pray with us that the Lord would keep Mark from filing bankruptcy before the January 3rd sale, which would simply drag out the process further.
Thursday I spend the day with the Stout girls while Carla got some things done. We had a blast together :) Thankful for these sweet sweet girls! Last night we also had a secondary phone conversation with Pioneers which was encouraging. We were able to get more of our questions answered concerning family, tentmaking, teams, etc and we look forward to proceeding forward in the application process. We look forward to learning more specifics about the organization as we move forward in the process of exploring the possibility of returning to India. Trying to take action steps of faith without rushing or forcing the process. We are grateful for where the Lord has us here in Charlotte and we trust He will open all the right doors in His timing.
Happy Friday! Excited to rest and relax today at home and spend some time with my friend Carrie this afternoon, and go on a hot date tonight with my hubby to Copper Indian Restaurant!
Saturday/Sunday we will be traveling again to Denmark, SC where Joshua's grandparents live. Joshua will be preaching Sunday morning on missions and we look forward to some good quality time with Grandmomma and Grandaddy.
