Can hardly believe that Karis is 8 weeks today! Its hard to imagine life without her now :) I am thankful for such a sweet baby. She is full of smiles and laughs and usually only cries when she's hungry or tired. Her gift to us this past week has been full nights of sleep! For the third time last night she slept 10pm-6am! What a wonderful thing! Not sure if it will last but we have definitely enjoyed it :) Last week I jumped back into more of a "normal" routine with laundry, cleaning, meal planning, shopping, cooking etc. on top of taking care of Karis. It was alot but such a joy to start finding a new balance. It really wonderful to be working at home!
We had a full but wonderful weekend. Our dear friends the Singapogu's came to visit from Clemson. It was a joy as always to catch up with them and to hear about their recent trip to India. We are so excited for how the Lord is opening doors for them to return towards the end of this year, Lord willing! We are excited for them to welcome their 3rd little one this September. It was so fun for David and Asha to meet there "cousin" :)
We also had a great time with our church family. We enjoyed having Edward and Carrie over for dinner Saturday night, it was great to get to know them more. Our small group is becoming a large group! We have recently had several Chinese friends joining us and Joshua's coworker Arun from Nepal also joined us last night. We love our small group so much and it has been a joy to grow with them in Christ this year.
