Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
bless His holy name!
and all that is within me,
bless His holy name!
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and forget not all His benefits,
who forgives all your iniquity,
who heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit,
who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,
who satisfies you with good
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
and forget not all His benefits,
who forgives all your iniquity,
who heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit,
who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,
who satisfies you with good
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
Psalm 103: 1-5
Just a quick update on Mom. She had great visits this week with the surgeon and oncologist. The surgeon said that Mom has been one of her best patients she has ever had in how she has been very calm and positive the entire time. I love Mom's saying "count your blessings, not your problems!" And that she has surely done through this entire process. So thankful for that example Mom.
Anyways, the oncologist confirmed yesterday that Mom does NOT need chemo or radiation due to the size of the tumors and since the cells had not spread to the lymph nodes! PRAISE JESUS! I really feel like it is a miracle. Once the reconstruction is completed she will begin a medication that will help to decrease the levels of estrogen in her body but other than this should need no further treatment! The reconstruction process will being moving forward next week.
We are surely counting our blessings! Yes, we praise the Lord for His grace to Mom in removing the cancer but more than that we PRAISE HIM for His grace to us through His Son in whom we have True Life and fellowship with the God of the Universe! We are rejoicing in Him for His daily mercies. Take a few minutes and praise Him with us! (Love this song from Sunday worship at Crosspoint in Clemson)
